I see this twitter post from @dailydish: Paul Ryan, Fraud?: I have to say that Paul Krugman made a very strong case that the young GOPer is still drinking …http://bit.ly/cvjOfy.
Paul Ryan is my congressman. My first thought is, “Oh, crap! Another political scandal!” Seriously. The last thing we need in America is a political scandal. Since I think Ryan is a good – if sometimes misguided – Congressman, I certainly don’t want anything to befall his political career.
So, I click the link. No fraud – thank goodness.
@dailydish is merely pointing out that Ryan’s road map for America has a pothole in it.
But, I wonder, what if I hadn’t clicked the link? What if I hadn’t read the article? I would’ve been very mislead. Perhaps, we should expect bloggers and journalists to create responsible headlines? And, should I be saying this? I’m sure I haven’t always been responsible.
Just a thought.
